Competent port of a mediocre board game. If you have fond memories of Talisman you will probably like it otherwise it is just a boring randomized experience : roll 1-2 to win or 3-6 to lose.

But I wish the game would save when you leave the app. I was pretty far in a quest, and had to set it down to take care of something and when I came back my progress was gone. Would be 5 stars if it didnt do that.

This is a great implementation of a classic board game that would be significantly improved with a "save" feature. I have found that you can continue playing after leaving the game and then returning, but the game restarts at some point, like its on some timer. Probably has something to do with my iPad 2s memory. The game state may be stored in RAM but once crowded out it evaporates. Plus, only one player can play at a time. A single game can last a while, so this can be a problem. Its still a very engaging game, especially if you have the time to start and finish.

Simply awesome. A steal for less than a dollar

This is a great game and all but I feel like its the same over and over, I think it could use a good multiplayer feature with a pass and play style. I feel the game would be more exiting if I wasnt just getting the crown of power, but I was racing to it! And if you add this, make sure to add working ai too!

Title says it all. It is ironman Talisman apparently. Otherwise fine. Use this to see if you want to play FFGs revised ed in paper.

This is one of my all time favorite board games and I was a little skeptical to see it as an iOS game... My skepticism was misplaced; they have done a phenomenal job and it feels very true to its source. My only criticism with the game is that there are no computer player opponents, which shifts the focus of the game to just beating the turn timer, which is less satisfying than I would like. I would like to add, to the developers, that the icon is particularly garish, in my opinion, and in my opinion doesnt look good on my home screen. I feel that the game could be better served with a simple and elegant icon and by removing the tacky Thumbstar Games star logo. All in all a fantastic game for new comers and tested adventurers alike.

This game is great. It sticks to the board game rules and moves along at a steady pace. There is a lot of content you get for the price and this is only the beginning. Great replay value and a must have for anyone who is a fan of the board game.

This is a step up from Parchisi. Roll, move in one of two directions, roll again or flip a card and do what is says. Winning means rolling or flipping what you need sooner rather than later. Very nice interface, very nice graphics, no real gameplay. I deleted it.

I love this board game, plain and simple! Would like to see in future upgrades an AI opponent and SAVE game options. Great work Thumbstar Games. :)

Great implementation, but needs a pass and play option.

I never played solo talisman before. Where is multiplayer? Where are the game saves? These two items are holding this app back from being great.

the implementation of the game is very well done. nice visuals, controls, and UI. however, this game needs multiplayer (preferably async online, not just pass and play). at the very least it needs decent AI to play against. without any of those, an opponent to thwart your plans, its not really the full Talisman gaming experience. I want it to be! right now this is really only half a game: the board and a random deck of adventure cards.

Finally an app for this game! The best board game ever. Please do the expansions. Others, get this game, both board game and app. Board game is awesome.

Great implementation but a couple of MUCH needed improvements- -save game -multiplayer and against computer Not much repeat play playing solo. How about city, dungeon, alternate endings as future expansions?
